Dr. Bhabha Viddnyan Lokshikshan Sanstha ,Kalmeshwar made its existence in 1981 by the vision & dedication in the rural part of Nagpur area i.e. Kalmeshwar where most socio-economically and educationally backward community inhabits. BVLS Sanstha began its work by the awareness about superstition about “Total Solar Eclipse” in 1981. This Sanstha is a big group of peoples who dedicated themselves in the various social activities such as Superstition eradication; blood, eye and body donation; General Knowledge. examinations for students; programs for farmers…etc. It had given a commendable uplift to the society around and still it functions as a source of hope to these people around Kalmeshwar. The vision of this Sanstha is to be a leader in fulfilling the contemporary need of the society by providing quality centric higher education with holistic development through our unique institute, K. Z. S. Science College. It had contributed in all areas of the need of the society since its inception 1992 by imparting knowledge, including human values, involving stakeholders and self analysis from feedback mechanism.
The institute is providing basic knowledge for various carriers for the job potential. We conduct diversified programs to generate awareness about various social issues. For example, prior to organizing a blood donation camp, students are made aware about blood donation through technical lectures and clearing misconceptions. Not only this, we have our own mobile blood bank (MBB), through which needles can contact directly to donors.
The neighborhood community which comprises underprivileged, socio- economically backward segment people like labourers, housemaids, daily wage earners, who can’t afford medical checkup / treatment not only because they don’t have money but the duration of treatment lead to economic loss, for such issues institution conducts free eye, ear, diabetes checkup camps with convenient time and venue.
To carry and proceed the same we all Sanstha members are requesting society to involve our mission for the betterment of our society in which we live.

According to proverb “Tamso ma jyotirgamaya” to inculcate and promote scientific approach for students coming from rural background and enlighten their lives with light of knowledge.
Dr. Bhabha Vidnyan Lokshikshan Sanstha was established in September 1981. The Sanstha started serving society through various social activities such as blood donation, eye donation, body donation, diagnostic camp, total and partial solar eclipse awareness programs, eradication of superstitions, science workshops etc. The college faculty, staff and students inspire each other to engage in quality educational experiences to achieve student’s success. Within this partnership, all members share a mutual accountability for student’s achievements.
